I wanted to share with you one of my newest finds. Recently, while rummaging around Sephora, I came across a product that I am completely spellbound by, and I have to share with you. You know that section of Sephora located right in front of the cashier, that marketing ploy that gets us girls each and every time. Okay, maybe not you, but especially me. Waiting in a treacherous line can really get your shopping juices flowing, and I happen to always purchase one of those inexpensive miniature knick knacks from that kiosk.
What was it this time? Cargo has recently launched a product called their "Essential Palette" filled with four beautiful and extremely wearable natural colors. As most neutral palettes, it showcases a browbone, lid, crease and outer corner color that are so subtle and beautiful. Best part about this palette? It's only eight dollars. This means, that not only is a great quality and absolutely wearable, it's also affordable.
You don't have to break the bank to get a radiant eye look.
The only con to this product? If you can leave aside the fact that it's small - no bigger than an Amex or a giftcard - the only other con would be that it is not available at Sephora.com, the online store. Sephora has never sold Cargo products on the site, therefore you'll have to get down to your nearest one to pick this product up. My take? It's an absolute wonder, and it's a great addition to my collection. If you're on the hunt for four beautiful shadows at only $2.00 each, I would highly recommend.
The outer packaging. Keep in mind that this is relatively small. This would be a great product to throw in a purse or a makeup bag.
The shadows are lovely. Your basic browbone, lid, crease and outer corner color
A small instructional picture on how to apply shades. Instead of this, it would have been nice to add a mirror. However, if you carry a compact on the go - then that won't be of a hassle.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Who knows? Maybe you'll stop by Sephora in the near future...With much love,
